What is Kick Commerce?

Kick Commerce was built specifically with ease of use and adaptability in mind. With years of ecommerce and CRM experience we decided to build our very own ecommerce and EPOS platform. We have used industry standard programming languages, an enterprise database platform and some creative scripting techniques that make Kick Commerce intuitive and a pleasure to work with.

Due to our clients high demands we required a system that would offer us an unfounded level of customisation across a wide variety of deployments.

In short Kick Commerce is a complete ecommerce solution with stock management, product administration, order processing and customer administration. All of this is presented to the customer as a bespoke, well marketed website.

The main selling point for Kick Commerce is that it can be installed locally or externally at a secure and reliable data centre. The main advantage of this is that you and your staff will be able to access all areas of your back end system via the Internet. This means that you will be able to check up on sales, customers and products from literally anywhere with an internet connection. This will give you great accessibility to your system and allows you to grow your business over multiple sites and locations without incurring large IT costs.

As Kick Commerce is a web-based system no software installation is required and all updates can be rolled out remotely. Ultimately this saves time and ensures your business can continue operating as normal.

Platform

Kick Commerce is built using a combination of technologies that best support the platforms requirements.

For data storage we opted for the Enterprise edition of MySQL. This gives us enterprise level performance, salability and ensures that we have options open to us for deployment across a wider variety of operating systems.

We use a combination of ASP, .NET and PHP to serve the content held within the database. These technologies are also used to calculate the sums, build the functions and display the screens you see when using Kick Commerce.

All user interfaces are built using CSS, Ajax and HTML. This provides us the best tools available to build engaging and exciting user interfaces that are both easy to use and functional.

Great Customer Experiences

Many ecommerce websites lack impact and buy online facilities are not easily recognised. With web shoppers becoming impatient it is important that your ecommerce shouts out what you sell. We have designed a simple 2 step checkout process that gently nurses customers through each step.
